Tara focuses her practice on construction law and litigation as well as commercial litigation.
In her construction practice, Tara negotiates and drafts contracts and subcontracts, prosecutes and defends claims (including mechanic’s lien claims), and pursues payment bond claims on federal and state-funded projects. Tara also frequently represents her clients when their disputes and claims reach litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Tara’s commercial litigation practice focuses on business litigation, contract disputes, UCC claims, commercial lease disputes, and creditor’s rights. Her clients range from general contractors, specialty subcontractors and suppliers to trade associations, condominium associations and individuals. Tara has broad experience handling disputes and claims ranging from several thousand dollars to several million dollars, and she handles all disputes and claims with the same goal – providing cost-effective and efficient legal representation.
