Sara Tandy

Sara Tandy is an employment attorney with Reaves, PLLC who specializes in employment law counseling and providing HR guidance and advice to private employers, federal and state contractors, small businesses, and non-profit organizations.
Sara advises employers on a wide variety of matters including corporate compliance, wage and hour issues, equal opportunity, anti-harassment, and nondiscrimination requirements, paid and unpaid leave policies, hiring and separation, and COVID-19 vaccination and risk mitigation. Sara also counsels clients on transactional matters, including employment and executive agreements, non-compete agreements and other restrictive covenants, and separation and release agreements. Prior to joining Reaves, PLLC, Sara was part of the labor and employment team of a large regional law firm based in Richmond. Prior to practicing law, Sara worked as a consultant in the fields of diversity and inclusion and strategic planning.
